Meghan Markle has been presented with a jaw-dropping offer of $1 million (£798k) per second to return to her breakout role as Rachel Zane on Suits, but it's not what it seems. This lucrative proposal doesn't come from the show's creators, but from German cosmetics company Biotulin, known for their wrinkle-smoothing products which are allegedly favoured by the Duchess herself.

Despite the buzz, Meghan hasn't made any public response to the proposition, reported by OK! The creator of Suits, Aaron Korsh, chose not to invite Meghan back for the series finale out of respect for her new Royal commitments and her appearance in the upcoming spin-off seems improbable.

Yet, the prospect of earning $5 million (£3.9m) for merely five seconds on screen could be tempting. The bold offer was made via a tweet from Biotulin to NBCUniversal in 2020, marking an unprecedented public bid for Meghan's return to the popular legal drama since her departure to join the British Royal Family, reports the Express.

"Att. Steve Burke: We are again offering you $5 million for a 5-sec appearance of Meghan Markle with our biological Botox gel BIOTULIN in your TV series 'Suits'," stated the tweet. "Pls. check our offer with her agent. #biotulin @NBCUnivrsal #Stephenbburker @nbc @nbcnews."

However, there might be strings attached to Biotulin's offer, as it remains unclear whether they would expect Meghan to endorse their brand beyond the cameo. Meghan Markle is reportedly considering a return to acting, with a pantomime role potentially marking her transition back to the screen.

However, her Hollywood comeback has faced setbacks, with Disney allegedly rejecting her due to her "controversial figure" status, according to sources cited by the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, Meghan is currently on a trip to Nigeria with her husband Prince Harry, referring to the country as "my country" following a DNA test revealing she is 43% Nigerian.

"Never in a million years would I understand it as much as I do now," she remarked at an event on women in leadership in Abuja. "And what has been echoed so much in the past day is, 'Oh, we are not so surprised when we found out you are Nigerian'. It is a compliment to you, because what they define as a Nigerian woman is brave, resilient, courageous, beautiful."
