It has been reported that Mel B has been granted a temporary restraining order against her former nanny to stop Lorraine Gilles from “annoying, harassing, molesting and coming within 100 yards” of her.

The 41-year-old pop star filed for divorce from film producer Stephen Belafonte earlier this month and was granted a restraining order against him last week, after she accused him of abusing her, getting their nanny pregnant and forcing her to take part in threesomes.

Mel has now obtained a court order following claims that her ex-child minder had been “extorting” her and the star’s lawyer was granted permission from the courts to access a storage locker rented by Lorraine, because it reportedly held sex tapes and explicit photos of Mel that Lorraine and Stephen had allegedly threatened to leak in a bid to destroy the Spice Girl’s life.

The documents, obtained by TMZ, said the locker also contained boxes of Spice Girls memorabilia and photos of her late father Martin Brown.

However, Mel, her lawyers and the police have reportedly searched the locker and found nothing despite the judge ruling that Lorraine must not remove anything.

Mel also stated in her legal papers that she attempted to fire Lorraine in January 2015 but Stephen allegedly went “ballistic” and called her his “ride or die bitch.”

The star is believed to be on the “verge” of offering Stephen £5 million and giving him a private island situated in Virginia, which she bought for £1 million for his birthday in 2014.

However, the 41-year-old film producer will have to agree to a gagging order preventing him from talking about their divorce.

Mel has claimed she had previously tried to leave Stephen but he “threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way … destroy my career and take my kids from me.”

She alleged the abuse first started within a year of their marriage in 2007 and became a “pattern” with Stephen allegedly choosing to “beat her down to let her know he was in charge” whenever she saw a spike in her career.

Stephen has denied all the allegations against him and has asked for spousal maintenance, and for Mel to fork out for the fees his lawyer is charging to settle the divorce.
