Mel B said the Spice Girls were showing their support for Geri Horner behind the scenes after Christian Horner investigation.

Ginger Spice's husband and Red Bull's team principal Christian Horner was cleared after an investigation into allegations of "inappropriate and controlling" behaviour towards a female colleague. Horner denied the allegations.

"Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial," a spokesperson for the company said. As Geri Horner often does join her husband at a Grand Prix, the pop star supported Horner at the Bahrain Grand Prix where they were pictured kissing and holding hands.

Now during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Mel B has said all of the Spice Girls - Emma Bunton, Mel C and Victoria Beckham - have been showing their support for their friend at this tough time.

What, how and why?

TV presenter Susanna Reid addressed the topic with Mel B in an interview: "You've all rallied around Geri."

Enthusiastically Mel B jumped in to say: "Oh yeah."

Mel B said she was feeling "really sad" about what her friend was going through. The singer said it was at times like this people need their friends and family to rally around them.

She further explained: "Yeah that’s the thing when you’re going through something like that you really do need your friends and family. And we’re all very supportive and I feel really sad about it right now."

Then Ed Balls seized the opportunity to turn the conversation to the Spice Girls reunion. Mel B said she was "in trouble" for confirming the Spice Girls reunion on Loose Women. Now on Good Morning Britain, Mel B confessed she always gets told off for spilling the beans.

She told him: "I'm always the one saying that the Spice Girls are getting together. I always get told off but we are doing something."

Presenter Balls pressed Mel B further for more details but Mel B playfully refused to reveal any more Spice Girls' secrets. Instead, she said it was time for her to go to make her appointment with Queen Camilla about domestic violence. She said: "Listen I've got to go and meet the queen!"
