Memorial services in North Lincolnshire will honour the D-Day landings

Supporters of our Armed Forces will gather in Scunthorpe and other North Lincolnshire towns to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings at Normandy.

Armed Forces champion Jon Jones, of 146 Divisional Support Company REME, said: "Being in the services for 33 years, it is obvious that we need to honour those who fell on D-Day and took part in the invasion to free Europe.
