One of TV's funniest double acts got back together this week in a rather surprising fashion.

Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey - stars of '90s sitcom Men Behaving Badly - were spotted at Buckham Fair in Dorset as they reunited to judge the Best Trick round in Sunday's (August 19) dog show.

Famous for their blokeish antics and lack of common sense, Gary Strang (Clunes) and Tony Smart (Morrissey) were a hit for seven seasons between 1992 and 1998. A one-off special was broadcast in 2014.

Leslie Ash and Caroline Quentin also starred in the series, as did Gary Enfield for the first series only.

Now, the boys have got back together for this special occasion and it's like they've never been away.

Posing for pictures with fans, Clunes and Morrissey can be seen grinning and pulling silly faces at each other.

Time flies, eh? But some people never change…

Neil Morrissey recently revealed the original cast are keen on another revival, if the opportunity arises.

"You know what they should do, get [writer] Simon Nye on this show, he's the one," he said when asked about it on ITV's Lorraine.

"If there's a script – because in my game everything starts with a script – and if the script's good… because Martin [Clunes] and I and Leslie [Ash] have all said of course we'll do it.

"So we need to get Simon Nye, nail him down and get him to write a series. Get him on, because he writes The Durrells."

Well, that settles it then. Time to get cracking Simon!
