Mexican Drivers Helped Out Amid Storm Alberto Flooding

Roads in Monterrey, Mexico, were closed and flights canceled as Tropical Storm Alberto brought flooding rain to Mexico on Thursday, June 20.

The storm was carrying “intense” rain and wind forecast to reach 100 km/h (62 mph), according to Mexico’s Servicio Meteorologico Nacional.

Footage taken by the civil protection service in Monterrey shows flooded streets and crews helping stranded motorists.
