Michael Bublé’s Family Offer More Details On Son’s Cancer Diagnosis

Michael Bublé’s family have offered more details on Noah’s recent cancer diagnosis – and confirmed it is not leukemia

The Canadian singer announced the heartbreaking news yesterday, on his Facebook page, writing: “We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.”

Michael’s sister-in-law, Daniela Lopilato, told Argentian journalist Tomas Dente that the family was ‘devastated’ by the news, and that the family has been 'torn in half’.

Daniela said in a text message that: “To tell you the truth I’m devastated. This is very recent.

“The only thing I ask is that you don’t speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means.

“Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can’t say any more.

“But it’s not leukemia or the central nervous system as people are saying. It’s all I can say.”

Earlier in the day, an insider told US Weekly that although the family were obviously sad they also remained hopeful: “They immediately got him very good care and they are hoping and praying for the best.”

“They are getting him the best doctors around. It’s really heartbreaking. This was a real shock, but they are doing everything they can.”

In the joint statement issued yesterday, Michael and Luisana said: “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy.”

“We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
