Manchester United have been sent another reminder about Michael Olise's abilities amid continued links of a move to Old Trafford.

United have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Crystal Palace forward when the transfer window opens this summer. The rumours first emerged last year, shortly after Olise signed a new contract at Selhurst Park.

Olise put pen to paper on fresh terms last August after he was close to joining Chelsea when his £35 million release clause was activated. The extension is thought to mean that Olise no longer has such a clause in his deal, but that has not stopped rumours that he could leave Palace to sign for United.

Saturday saw Olise in action for the Eagles, where he scored one goal and provided one assist in a 3-1 victory over Wolves. Olise opened the scored away at Molineux, with his strike likely to send a message to clubs interested in his signature, which may include United.

Olise now has 10 goals and five assists in all competitions this season for Palace in just 18 appearances. The forward was on the sidelines with a hamstring injury in the early months of the season but has recently shown his best form in a Palace shirt which has led to speculation about his future.

United were on the receiving end of Olise's abilities on Monday night at Selhurst Park. Olise scored two goals as the Reds suffered a disappointing 4-0 defeat.

It was reported by 90min last month that United were interested in signing Olise. The report also claimed that the 22-year-old would be keen on a move to Old Trafford should the Reds make their move to acquire his services.

No price tag has been reported for how much Palace would demand from any club wishing to sign Olise this summer. It remains to be seen if United will make a move to bring the France Under-21 international to Manchester when the transfer window reopens in a few weeks.
