The outrageous singer and Hunger Games star are putting their heads together to come up with a “dramatic love story”.
Miley, 23 and 26-year-old Liam reunited at Christmas after they called off their engagement in 2013. Although they have had their fair share of ups and downs and been endlessly scrutinised in the media, the play isn’t believed to be based on their journey.
However, there’s no doubt it will attract a huge audience if it ever gets put on the stage.
The Wrecking Ball singer is the driving force behind the project and her Aussie beau is taking a creative-assistant role.
A source told Us Weekly: “[Miley and Liam] have been writing a script for a play together. It’s a dramatic love story.
"Miley is always writing, drawing and making music. Liam helps out. They’re so creative.”
The news that the couple are adding another strong to their creative bows comes after Miley insisted in a recent interview that she will never again walk a glitzy red carpet.

The human rights and animals activist told Elle magazine “that’s not how I roll” and doesn’t think she should parade her fame around like a character in Ben Stiller’s Zoolander.
She said: “I will never do a red carpet again. Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red?” Because I’m “important”? Because I’m “famous”? That’s not how I roll. It’s like a skit - it’s like Zoolander.”
