'Mind-blowing' iPhone hack that helps you with laundry has users saying 'wow'

It's a known fact that iPhones are incredibly adaptable, making various tasks a breeze. But one area that's lesser-known is its utility in simplifying our laundry routines.

Brad Canning, a digital content creator, posted a recording on Instagram detailing how to use your iPhone to assist with your laundry. The video post, having garnered more than 1.4million views and nearly 59,000 likes, makes an impact right from the start, with Brad declaring that his tip "is going to blow your mind".

Delving into the details of this incredibly practical trick, Brad said: "You know these crazy symbols on the inside of our clothes? Let me show you a little trick."

He then proceeds to showcase how by taking a detailed snapshot of a laundry care tag using your iPhone. Opening the image on the Photos app, a washing machine icon appears at the image's base.

Brad says tapping on the washing machine symbol would give you the option to "Look up Laundry Care", implying it provides information on what each emblem on the label signifies like the washing temperature or if tumble drying is advisable, reports the Mirror US.

Moreover, this "incredible" feature has uses extending beyond just laundry. According to Brad, it can also figure out types of plants, dog breeds, artworks, books, cat species and plenty more.

For the hack to work, as Brad informs, you're required to have either an iPhone SE or newer model running on iOS 16 or 17.

The brilliant hack has left iPhone users astounded, with one remarking: "My mind is blown", while another exclaimed: "What that is so cool!". A third user, who tried the hack, was amazed and commented: "Omg it really works! ".
