Missing Police Officer's Body Found After 5-Day Search Following Peru Bus Accident

The body of a 24-year-old police officer was found on Sunday, May 5, following a bus accident where the vehicle plunged into the Utcubamba River on April 30, local news reported.

Eleven people sustained minor injuries in the crash, while the police officer, Jhimo Fernando Tuesta Chocaca, went missing, the report says.
