Missing Shere man hunt as police say they're 'extremely concerned'

Police say they're 'extremely concerned' about a man from Shere who has not been seen since this morning (Monday). The man, named simply as 'David' is 63 years old.

He was last seen around midday. Police have issued a full description of him as well as the above image.

Guildford Beat (Surrey Police) said: "We're appealing for help to find missing 63-year-old David from Shere. David was last seen today (1 July) around 12pm and hasn't been heard from since.

"He is around 5ft 7, wearing a black fleecy top and brown trousers, and is likely travelling on foot in the Guildford or Waverley area. We are extremely concerned for his welfare and would like to find him as soon as possible, so if you have seen David or have any information which could help us find him, please contact us quoting SYP-20240701-0307 via direct message"
