Missing teenager 'may have travelled to Edinburgh' as police launch urgent search

Police have launched an urgent search for a teenager who may be in Edinburgh.

15-year-old Michael went missing from Chippenham, England, on Wednesday, May 8. It is believed he has travelled up to Edinburgh.

Chippenham Police said they are 'extremely concerned about his welfare' and are urgently trying to track him down.

Police Scotland Edinburgh have posted on social media adding that it is believed he could have travelled to Edinburgh.

Chippenman Police said: "We are urgently appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of a teenager who is missing from the Chippenham area.

"Michael, 15, has been missing since Wednesday (May 8) and we are extremely concerned about his welfare.

"He is from Luton but believed to be in the Chippenham area. He also has links to Melksham.

"Michael is described a white, 5ft 5” and of slim build. He has mousy brown hair and is believed to be wearing a beige Armani tracksuit, white and red Reebok trainers and carrying a green bag and skateboard.
