Moises Caicedo and Thiago Silva have dropped an early team news hint ahead of Chelsea's clash against Arsenal. The Gunners welcome Mauricio Pochettino's side to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening as the Premier League title race builds a head of steam.

The Blues will be keen to return to winning ways after a heartbreaking defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final at the weekend. Meanwhile, Arsenal enjoyed a routine win over Wolves to keep their hopes of winning the English top flight alive.

Only an eight goal difference separates Mikel Arteta's side in first from Liverpool, who are second. Manchester City trail in third by a just point, though they've got a game in hand up their sleeve.

Nevertheless, Caicedo and Silva have both posted pre-match graphic previews of the Arsenal fixture to their respective Instagram stories. Historically, this suggests that they will be involved in some capacity.

Deivid Washington, who's yet to make his first Chelsea start since joining from Santos in the summer, has also done the same, indicating that he too could feature. One player who might not play is Cole Palmer, however.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Pochettino claimed the former Manchester City midfielder may not be ready to face the Gunners. The Blues boss said: "Today, no. We need to assess him tomorrow morning. But today, no, I don't believe he can be involved, but we need to assess him tomorrow and then we can decide.

"Even if he will be good tomorrow, maybe he is not in a condition to play. I hope he can recover from this situation as soon as possible and be involved again with the team."

Pochettino added: "With or without, we believe that we can win. The most important thing is the team, the collective. Of course, he is an important part of the team. He is doing fantastic for us, but this is Chelsea and there are plenty of players who can perform and do the job also."

With that being said, Pochettino will be relying on the likes of Caicedo and Silva to step up with Europa League qualification still in reach. While a few players have posted pre-match previews of the Arsenal clash to their Instagram stories, it does not necessarily mean they will all start.
