More arrests made as probe over Bradford shooting incident continues

POLICE have made more arrests following a shooting incident on a Bradford street.

It occurred on Stratton View in Holme Wood in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, April 25.

At the time, West Yorkshire Police said this was to a report of an “ongoing incident involving individuals in vehicles”.

Yesterday three males and a female were arrested on Broadstone Way - also part of the large Bradford estate.

They came after a vehicle was stopped as part of ongoing enquiries into the incident which did not result in injuries.

Officers also conducted searches at two properties in the Farway area.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Police investigating a firearms discharge in Bradford last month have made further arrests.

"Three males and a female were arrested in the Broadstone Way area in Bradford on Friday afternoon (May 3) after a vehicle was stopped as part of ongoing enquiries into a firearms discharge on Stratton View at 2.25am on Thursday, April 25.

"Officers also conducted searches at two properties in the Farway area.

"Specialist officers have been conducting multiple enquiries into the shooting on Stratton View, which did not result in any injuries.

"Two men previously arrested on suspicion of firearms offences remain on police bail as enquiries continue by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
