Morgan Fairchild Reacts To Sandra Bernhard’s Apology & Admits ‘Roseanne’ Set Was “Difficult”

Morgan Fairchild is reacting to Sandra Bernhard’s apology after the latter revealed she had not been nice to her co-star on the Roseanne set back in the 1990s.

Bernhard recently admitted she didn’t have a good relationship with Fairchild on the ABC sitcom set. Fairchild appeared in a handful of episodes playing her bisexual girlfriend Marla and appeared in three episodes of the comedy.

“I’m very touched by Sandra Bernhard’s words. Very nice of her,” Fairchild posted on X, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter. “Yes, it was a difficult set for me, but that’s show biz.”

Bernhard apologized to Fairchild during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen shared Bernhard’s apology with Fairchild on X to bring it to her attention. Fairchild noted that she was already following Bernhard and said she could DM her “any time” to suggest, “Let’s grab coffee.”

On Saturday, June 22, Bernhard saw Fairchild’s post on X and replied, “Thank you Morgan for you kind response to my apology you have always been a groovy open talented person & you deserve all the celebration & love people shower you with you champion those who need it the most hats off lady we will break it all down over a cup of Joe asap!”

Fairchild followed up and shared Bernhard had reached out to her, but their coffee date was still not set yet as they live on opposite sides of the country.

Earlier this week, Bernhard shared on WWHL that she had a “snotty attitude” with Fairchild on the set of Roseanne and offered her an apology.

“It’s one of my biggest regrets that I wasn’t nicer to her,” Bernhard said. “I was a little dismissive of Morgan, and to this day, would like to say to Morgan, you are incredible to work with, you went there.”

Bernhard noted that Fairchild was “fabulous” and “on the right side politically,” adding, “I owe you an apology. I adore you. And thank you for putting up with my snotty little attitude.”
