A surprise change in This Morning's iconic theme tune left viewers stunned after nearly a decade of familiarity.

The beloved daytime show, hosted by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, made a comeback with an unexpected twist. The audience was taken aback as the Royal Marines brass band took over the usual opening music with their rendition of the This Morning jingle.

Some viewers at home were unsettled by the new arrangement, taking to X to express their confusion.

One viewer remarked: "When I first heard the theme music this morning I thought I was going mad lol, freaked out for a second."

Another speculated: "Wonder if that's them that were on the stage with Take That," as reported by the Mirror, reports Wales Online.

However, there were those who welcomed the fresh take, commending the military band. One fan said: "Their medals I spot Iraq, Afghan, peacekeeping, Falklands and Kosovo. Brave brave men. I salute you all."

Another simply added: "Good musicians."
