This Morning viewers left swooning as 80s icon shows off ageless looks on ITV show

Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard chatted with 80s pop legend Martin Fry during the latest instalment of This Morning.

The ABC frontman, 66, graced the ITV programme to discuss his storied career, captivating viewers with his appearance and prompting an outpouring of compliments on Twitter.

One admirer tweeted: "Martin Fry - so so handsome." Other fans echoed this sentiment, with comments such as "Looking good for 66 Martin," and "From memory, he's either aged really well or looked the same since the 80s."

A social media user concurred, stating, "Martin Fry looks good for 66." Cat was curious about what influenced his band's unique style back in the day, noting that people were eager to carve out their own image.

Martin shared his inspiration came from the vivid characters he'd encounter in nightclubs during the early 80s, reminiscing about icons like Boy George, Annie Lennox, and George Michael, reports the Mirror.

Fry reflected on the era when every British musician seemed to make a pop music dash, recalling flights to New York packed with UK pop stars keen on cracking America.

He contrasted the rock'n'roll leather trousers of the 70s with the eclectic 80s, a decade where his band took influence from everything including cinema and jumble sale finds.

The singer humorously admitted that their outfits used to be homemade, but that's not the case anymore.

Martin was the lead vocalist for the band ABC, which was originally formed in 1981, with Mark White, Stephen Singleton and David Palmer as members.
