Yahoo News This Morning's Ruth hits back at troll over "frumpy" comment
This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford has criticised a troll who called her outfit "frumpy".
Ruth, who is presenting the ITV morning show alongside her husband and co-host Eamonn Holmes over the summer, shared a Boomerang of her chosen outfit of the day, which featured an aqua-coloured jumper and black trousers, on Instagram.
However, one follower had a dig at her outfit when they commented on another post of hers, in which she revealed that she was working with retailer QVC on some more fashion designs with them.

"Shame they put you in frumpy old women's clothes on this morning !!!!" the person wrote - but Ruth was having none of it, replying, "I chose the outfit myself and was very happy with it... can't please all of the people all of the time though!"
She then received a number of far more flattering comments, with fans reassuring her that her clothes were "gorgeous" and "so very lovely".
Ruth and Eamonn have been helming This Morning every Monday to Thursday while regular hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are on their summer break until September.
The Friday presenting line-up will change every week throughout the summer with Rochelle Humes, Strictly Come Dancing's Ore Oduba, X Factor presenter Dermot O'Leary and show regular Alison Hammond all taking a turn on the famous sofa.

Eamonn said, "It's set to be a very different summer for us all, so we hope that here on This Morning we can continue to provide some sense of normality... and lots of craziness of course!"
