Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after crash on Sadlers Farm roundabout

A MOTORCYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after a crash on the Sadlers Farm roundabout.

Yesterday evening at around 6pm, emergency services were called to Sadlers Farm following reports of a crash.

The crash involved a car and a motorbike.

The East of England Ambulance Service and Essex Police both attend the crash.

An the ambulance service has since confirmed the rider of the motorbike has been taken to Basildon Hospital for treatment.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called just before 6pm on Saturday to a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike on the Sadlers Farm roundabout in Basildon.

"Two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene.

"The motorcyclist, an adult man, was transported to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”

At the time, Rebecca Harris, MP for Castle Point, reported that there had been a "serious accident" coming from Canvey onto the Sadlers Farm roundabout.

In her social media post, she sent her thoughts to those involved.
