Motorists Navigate Floodwaters in Spain's Murcia Region

Multiple water rescues were carried out after torrential rain sparked flash flooding in Spain’s southern province of Murcia on Wednesday, June 12, officials said.

This footage shows drivers navigating roiling floodwaters on a roadway in Molina de Segura, about six miles northwest of the city of Murcia.

Some people found themselves trapped inside vehicles, surrounded by flooding, until authorities came to their aid, according to the regional government.
