Movie made in Dothan opens at Clark Cinemas in Enterprise this week

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — A film primarily filmed in Dothan and Enterprise is set to be unveiled this week in the City of Progress.

The movie is called “Rancor”.

An action crime thriller about a girl who witnessed her parent’s murder, so she sets out to find the killer, but she discovers a terrible truth about her past and her future.

The movie was primarily filmed in Dothan, while they also filmed a few scenes in Enterprise with actors and actresses from across the tri-state.

It was directed by Wiregrass native Jesse Frank and will be shown March 15-21 at Clark Cinemas in Enterprise. “Rancor” will then be released on streaming platforms like Vimeo on March 21.
