There are times when you can tell a TV Sign Language interpreter is really enjoying their work and this video proves just that.

While signing an MP’s speech in the New Zealand parliament: the interpreter caught hold of Ron Mark saying under his breath ‘Shut the f**k up’ after being repeatedly interrupted.

Mark’s fellow MPs missed the remark but this pro interpreter showed ‘the bird’ highlighting the rude nature of the remark.

The shamefaced politician has subsequently apologised for swearing telling the New Zealand Herald that the comment was aimed at a ‘group of MPs that were behaving the way they were.’

Oh dear – if only he had sworn when the legislative chamber was not hosting interpreters as part of Sign Language Awareness Week.
