Stop, fool! Mr T will reportedly appear on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. Yes, really.

The iconic A-Team actor, who is now 64, is set to swap his medallions for maracas (we hope) just in time for when the show kicks off again in March.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the show has finally bagged one of its dream contestants for its spring run, and the team can't wait to see Mr T - real name Lawrence Tureaud - in action.

While we pity the fool who underestimates the dancing prowess of Mr T, we can't help but wonder if the acting legend is going to be a little less Ore Oduba and a little more Ed Balls.

Also rumoured to have signed up for the latest instalment of DWTS is Olympic champion and all-round gymnastics queen Simone Biles.

Although there has been no official confirmation as of yet, Simone did reveal late last year that she would "love" to appear on the show. (And put everyone to shame, no doubt.)

"I would love to [join DWTS], but the fall season won't work," she explained. "If I could do the spring season, I would love to do that!"

Meanwhile, on this side of the pond, speculation is still rife as to who'll take the place of head judge Len Goodman now that he has officially left Strictly Come Dancing.

Anton Du Beke? Helen Richey? Gary Edwards? Watch this space.
