MTV VMAs 2015: Taylor Swift Brings (Almost) Her Entire ‘Bad Blood’ Squad As She Wins Video Of The Year

The idea that Taylor Swift gives us more squad goals than the England rugby team is now so factual that we’re assuming they’ll be teaching it in next year’s GCSE history lessons.

In fact, we reckon they might just use these photos of Swifty arriving at the MTV VMAs with (almost) her entire ‘Bad Blood’ crew in tow as evidence that Swifty’s Squad is one of the most glorious squads to ever walk the planet.

Probably the most glamorous and gorgeous, too. Exhibit A:

Yep, the 25-year-old brought a group of her closest pals (who starred in her ‘Bad Blood’ video) along to the MTV Video Music Awards for support, as she picked up the gongs for Best Collaboration and Video Of The Year.

Her ‘Blank Space’ video also got her the awards for Best Pop Video and Best Female Video. Not a bad night then, eh?

Taking her gals on stage with her to collect her Video Of The Year award, T-Swiz said: “I wanna thank Kendrick Lamar. I wish he was here but he’s off in Europe on tour being amazing, but he is such a positive influence in my life and I wanted to thank him first.

“This video was such a collaborative effort. These women helped create their parts, helped write their roles and decide what they wanted to be and I mean, there are two women in the video who I’ve named cats after.

“I love them so much, and the fact that to the fans, the fact that you would vote and give us this bonding experience that we will have forever, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Addressing the criticism the video has received for seemingly ‘pitting women up against each other’ and for the ‘violence’ involved, she continued: “There’s been a lot of discussion about this video and what it means.

“I’m just happy that in 2015, we live in a world where boys can play princesses and girls can play soldiers. Thank you so much.”

Four for you, Swifty. You go, Swifty.

Oh, and if you’re wondering, here’s what popstars REALLY get up to backstage:
