A mum said she has been left with a "mullet" after catching her hair while attempting to make pizza dough.

Natalie Walker, 38, caught her hair in an electric whisk and ended up having to cut the blades from her hair, which was then down to her elbows. She said she has been left with "tufts".

The mum-of-two said videos she shared on TikTok have garnered so many viewers she is now a "local celebrity", being recognised wherever she goes.

Natalie, from Preston, said she gets stopped by people every time she leaves the house, with people asking if she is "the girl who got her hair caught in a whisk". Thankfully Natalie can see the funny side, though is now debating whether to get hair hair cut in a short pixie style due to her "mullet".

The full-time mum said: "I had my phone propped up making pizza dough.

"I was kneading it by hand but I wasn't kneading properly with my hands so I got the whisk. Something distracted me for a second and the next thing, my hair was caught in it.

"I was like 'this can't be happening!' It's very very slowly growing back, but it was long before, now it's just tufts."

Natalie said she hasn't touched her electric whisk since the incident and swears she'll be sticking with a hand whisk from now on.
