Stacey Solomon, who is known for her home organisational show Sort Your Life Out, is no stranger to taking to social media and sharing her tips with fans.

Often very thrifty and affordable, her hacks often inspire other people to try them out for themselves. Recently, one mum decided to do this after spotting one on Instagram - and said she wished she'd done it 'years ago'.

Manchester Evening News writer Emma Gill noticed Stacey posting about 'memory boxes' she had made for her children, full of precious mementos like scan photos, old pictures and baby clothes. And when out shopping in IKEA, she found just the thing to keep all of her memories safe and secure in one place.

She said: "Obviously you can pick up any old box for free, or spend a few quid on a flimsy cube, but for something like this, you need it to stand the test of time and if it's something's staying above your wardrobe for years, then you want it to look nice too."

The KVARNVIK storage box with lid boasts a stylish woven design, and is a really sturdy option - coming with a handy little space on the front to put the child's name too.

The boxes come in three different sizes and two different colours - grey and beige - but Emma decided to go for the biggest square-shaped one at £15 so that all of the memories would definitely fit.

They're a great place to store things like school photos, cards and letters to Santa from your children's younger days, and you know they're in a safe spot for when you want to look back on them one day.

Emma wrote: "I don't think either of them will appreciate it when they're older, especially the teeth, but these are for me to treasure - with the certificates and 'I love you mummy' notes that get fluttered about like confetti when they're little and mean so much more now they're teenagers and mostly refer to me as 'bru' or 'blud'.

"It's made me feel so much better knowing that all these bits and bobs are in one place and if ever I need to pull out a baby photo to embarrass them, I know exactly where to look."
