A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a wheelie bin in north London.
Police were called to Tollington Road, Islington, shortly before 4pm on Saturday, to reports of a man's body found in a bin.
It is reported the bin was near a Waitrose store on Tollington Road, but police have not confirmed this.
The death is being treated as unexplained as officers wait for the results of a post-mortem.
The investigation is being led by detectives from the Metropolitan Police Central North Command who are trying to find out who the man was.
A 52-year-old man was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody at a north London police station.
Streets near the scene have been sealed off by police.
