Naomi Campbell Dismisses Idris Elba Dating Rumours – But Admits She’s Keen On Becoming A Mum

As a veteran tantrum-thrower, Naomi Campbell should be able to empathise with kids.

And the 45-year-old has admitted she is keen to become a mum after spending her life thinking about the prospect.

However, the Streatham-born model won’t be having them with Idris Elba.

Brushing off rumours she had been seeing the actor, she said she wasn’t sure “which way” she’ll have children as she refuses to rush to “anyone’s drumbeat”.

When asked if her long-lasting modeling career was in part due to not taking time out to have children, Naomi replied: “Well, I’m not saying I won’t have children. I could have children. I just don’t know which way I’ll have children.

“But I think I’ll have children, everyone thinks I’ll be a good mother. I’ve always considered it. I’ll just do it when I’m ready. I’m not rushing to anyone’s drumbeat, I’m going to my own.”

She added in an interview with the Sunday Times magazine she is now “more mellow”, and said: “My behaviour at certain points in my life… I was growing up, just learning how to live, and I had to do it in front of the world.

“I hope that I’m forgiven, as I forgive those who have hurt me too.”

Naomi is said to have had relationships with a string of powerful men including boxer Mike Tyson, actor Robert De Niro, Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin and former Formula One team boss Flavio Briatore, but none of the relationships lasted.
