NatWest down: Online and mobile banking hit by problems with customers unable to access their accounts
NatWest customers have been left unable to access their accounts online due to an outage on the bank’s internet and mobile services.
The bank said it was aware of the issues and was “working hard” to fix them early on Friday morning.
Many customers have been met with error messages when attempting to log in to their accounts using an app on their mobile phone or on a computer.
Telephone banking and ATMs have not been affected by the issues, the bank said.
We’re aware of some issues on our Online and Mobile Banking services and are working hard to fix them. Telephone Banking and ATMs are available. Sorry and thanks for your patience.

Many people have taken to social media to vent their frustrations over the outage, with some affected on payday.
The bank has an estimated four million-plus customers.
The issues had affected NatWest, Ulster Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland customers.
The bank later said the issued had been resolved.
A statement from RBS said: "We would like to apologise to customers who experienced issues logging into their online and mobile banking accounts this morning, this issue has now been resolved."
