NE-YO and Monyetta Shaw-Carter Celebrate Son Mason and Daughter Madilyn with Joint Birthday Party (Exclusive)

The milestone birthdays came with a special celebration for Mason and Madilyn

NE-YO and Monyetta Shaw-Carter came together to celebrate their not-so-little ones.

The R&B singer-songwriter, 44, posed with the Keep It Classy Nails founder, 42, as they celebrated son Mason, who turned 12 on Oct. 9, and daughter Madilyn, who turns 13 next week.

The teens got together for a joint party at Andretti’s Indoor Karting & Games in Marietta, Georgia.

NE-YO —whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith — had a big smile on his face as he posed with Shaw-Carter and the kids, as well as her husband Heath Carter.

Sharing a special birthday message for her son on Instagram last month, Shaw-Carter marveled at how fast her kids are growing up.

"We had such a great chill day today with the birthday boy. Brunch by @everythingdaryll & @lynettejuneau then family game day fun followed by one of his fav places…..then a yummy Bday dinner. 🎂 We love you so much Maso!" she wrote.

"Counting down to the joint Bday cruise time (Maso, Gigi, & Madi’s bdays are 2 weeks apart) then the M’s joint Bday party (like we used to do🎉) with the rest of our family & the kiddos friends. 🥳🥳🎈🎈💙❤️ YEP this is the beginning of our super busy family celebrations!! The mom of two's kids have been the subject of her children's books, 2021's The Chronicles of Nice Guy Maso and The Adventures Of Maddie: Meet Maddie. She and her ex also co-authored, Keep It Classy: Co-Parenting Strategies for Unstoppable Moms and Devoted Dads.

Shaw-Carter is also stepmom to her husband's two kids, Gigi and Brianna. The former radio personality and her husband tied the knot in 2021, celebrating two years of marriage on Tuesday.
