Neighbours' Alan Fletcher teases that soap's comeback story is a 'big' one
The new series of the Australian soap starts filming in April
Neighbours star Alan Fletcher has teased that the show will return with a huge storyline.
The much-loved show was cancelled in 2022 after 37 years, and bowed out with a huge finale that saw old favourites like Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue return to Ramsay Street.
However, Amazon Freevee stepped in and is set to deliver a new series this year.

So far little is known about the new season, and Fletcher recently said everyone was being “very tight-lipped”.
However, he has now let slip that Neighbours will be back with a bang.
Speaking on This Morning, he said: "I think it will be the Neighbours that people know and love.
"As for stories, we know we are going to kick the show off with a big 'un."
The actor, who stars as Dr Karl Kennedy, went on: "We don't know what it is but it will be a big story.
"People have a lot to look forward to."
Fletcher's co-star April Rose Pengilly - who was on the ITV show with him - chimed in: "Everything was so wrapped up in the final episode, all happy endings."
"We have no idea where they are going to take it, it's very exciting," added the actor, who plays Chloe Brennan.
