Yahoo News Neighbours' David just missed his chance with Aaron
Looks like Neighbours will be leaving us waiting a little longer for a romance between Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka.
The show teased us with the possibility they could get together in last Friday's trailer, but there was a twist in the tale when Aaron had another man in his bed when David paid his late-night visit.
Monday's Neighbours episode saw David realise that it was time to start being honest about everything - including Paige Smith's baby and his own sexuality.
The first one was much simpler than expected, with Paige selflessly setting David free and agreeing that they could stop lying about him being the father of her baby.
The second turned out to be trickier, as David optimistically headed over to the Brennan house to see Aaron.
It seemed this could be the start of something between the two guys... for about five seconds. Unfortunately for David, Aaron was actually busy entertaining another man, so it wasn't the best timing.
"There's a guy here," Aaron admitted.
David replied: "Oh, you're going on a date?"
Aaron clarified: "Not exactly - he's in my room."
Poor David didn't know what to think and quickly hurried off, but since it's clear that Aaron's latest conquest isn't exactly anything serious, could it be the case that something still happens between the two Ramsay Street regulars eventually?
In the meantime, Tuesday's episode sees Paige and David come clean to Brad and Lauren after their lies about the baby's father.
Could their confession cause shockwaves on Ramsay Street?
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
