Neighbours fans think Bonnie Anderson is competing on Masked Singer Australia
Neighbours fans are speculating that somebody from Ramsay Street is currently competing in the Australian version of The Masked Singer.
The reality TV show involves celebrities performing in a bid to stay in the competition with the twist that their identities are hidden behind costumes.
But viewers suspect that Bushranger is none other than Bonnie Anderson, who plays Bea Nilsson on the Australian soap.
Aside from Bushranger's voice sounding a little like Bonnie's, some of the clues appear to match up. According to fans, there are references to Bonnie's win in the first ever season of Australia's Got Talent back in 2007 and a nod to her song 'Blackout'.
"As for a clue for the costume, her character on Neighbours dated both 'Ned' and Finn 'Kelly', put the two together and you have Ned Kelly," said one YouTube comment. Ned Kelly was a famous bushranger who died in 1880.
I love how last year all the #Neighbours cast were publicly guessing Millsy for the wolf. And this year they're all completely silent despite the fact that the bushranger sounds exactly like Bonnie Anderson 🤣. Were they told not to guess their co stars publicly? 🤭🤷♀️

Feel like an idiot guessing yesterday, assuming a guy, but was oh so close. Is 100% Bonnie Anderson, of this I am sure. Clues match, voice matches, the accent is fake. Nice one Bonnie, u killed it

So Bushranger is definitely Bonnie Anderson right? She sounds similar and is the first winner of AGT #maskedsingerau https://t.co/AU4us0hvHK

Bushranger's performance of LunchMoney Lewis song 'Bills' was enough to see her win the face-off and secure a place in next week's episodes.
If Bushranger turns out to be Bonnie, she would be following in the footsteps of Rob Mills, who participated in the first season. As Wolf, he finished runner-up to Cody Simpson.
Bonnie first appeared on Neighbours in May 2018. In January this year, she denied rumours that she was leaving after fans noticed she was missing from a Christmas photo featuring the cast.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
