Neighbours' Harlow Robinson faces controversy over new Lassiters job

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours' Harlow Robinson faces controversy on UK screens next week, as a new and senior job is created for her by her grandfather Paul.

Harlow (Jemma Donovan) has helped fill in for Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) at Lassiters while she worked at Leo Tanaka's vineyard. The Robinson has also been a major part of the Quill deal.

But with Chloe back and the Quill deal called off, Harlow begins to doubt her future – until Paul (Stefan Dennis) steps in.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Paul – keen to keep his granddaughter happy and in a case of nepotism – creates the position of executive liaison for Harlow, despite her obvious lack of experience.

Chloe is among those who expresses concern about the new role, pointing out that Harlow would be overtaking her own job, but Harlow is adamant that she's earned the position, causing tension between the pair.

While Harlow is excited to getting started with her role, Chloe feels like she's being pushed aside.

Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) shares similar concerns about Harlow's new position, and asks her husband to pause the job for the time being.

How will Chloe and the rest of the Lassiters staff react?

Neighbours airs the Harlow scenes on Monday, September 13 and Tuesday, September 14 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
