Neighbours lines up major change for Haz, Mackenzie, Byron and Krista

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours fans can expect trouble for the share house residents next week as they're forced to deal with a troublesome new landlord.

Haz Devkar, Mackenzie Hargreaves, Byron Stone and Krista Sinclair realise they're in for a tough time when the new owner of Number 32 starts making unreasonable demands.

The property is currently owned by Leo Tanaka, who needs to liquidate some of his assets following his recent financial crisis.

Life hasn't been the same for Leo since the poisoning incident at the vineyard, which has severely threatened the reputation of his business.

Aaron Brennan considers buying Number 32 in this week's episodes, but ultimately decides against it as he realises it'd be a backwards step for his grief.

The Waterhole's barman previously lived in the house with his husband David Tanaka, who died in February.

When Leo sells to somebody else, the share house residents are relieved to learn that they'll be kept on as tenants. However, their joy turns to despair when they realise exactly who the new landlord is.

Next week, the landlord makes a poor first impression when she vows to start using Number 32's pool regularly now that she 'owns' it.

The troublesome character in question threatens to evict the current residents and find new tenants if they don't agree to her regular visits.

The share house gang initially plan a charm offensive to deal with the problem. However, Mackenzie later loses patience and puts her foot down, warning the landlord that she has no legal entitlement to use the pool while the house is being rented out.

Everyone is relieved when the defeated owner heads home, but clearly unhappy at being outsmarted, she spitefully vows to increase the monthly rent. Is this just the beginning of the problems to come?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, June 24.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
