Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours star Lucy Durack has spoken on her character Rose Walker's recent exit from Erinsborough.
Following the airing of her final scenes in the UK, which saw Toadie Rebecchi pick Melanie Pearson over Rose amid a love triangle storyline, the actress sent her thanks to the soap as she admitted she was very much #TeamMelanie.
"My eps have finished airing at home and in the UK so I am no longer spoiler alerting anything when I say farewell (again) Erinsborough and thank you for another fun visit!" she shared on Instagram, alongside three pictures including co-stars.
"Sorry to anyone who found Rose's ways a bit too sneaky at times," she added of her character. "I did too tbh so am totally #TeamMelanie all the way."
This is Lucy's second guest stint following her arrival in Erinsborough last year, her final scenes seeing Melanie play a surprise video declaring her love for Toadie at a film festival, Rose realising that Toadie still loves her rival.
Speaking recently to Digital Spy about her future on the soap, the actress admitted she likes the variety of popping in and out of Neighbours.
"I do like the variety of getting to do a bit of Neighbours and other things," she said. "I'm about to do a film and then a play. If I can have a year where I get to do a bit of TV, a bit of film, and a bit of theatre, that's a good year for me.
"At the same time, of course everybody is so nice on Neighbours. So either would be good!"
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
