Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Neighbours' Toadie Rebecchi is set to make a final choice between Melanie Pearson and Rose Walker, as the trio's complicated love triangle situation continues.
In scenes geared up to air next week on Channel 5, Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) will be seen enlisting the help of MacKenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) in an attempt to win Toadie back once and for all.
Turns out, she's got her work cut out for her though, as determined Rose (Lucy Durack) – who's been getting closer and closer to the longtime Erinsborough resident in recent weeks – continues to try and woo Toadie (Ryan Moloney).
Keen to spend more one-on-one time with him, Rose asks him to be her plus one to the local film festival. He accepts, but their time at the event is interrupted when Melanie pitches up and starts playing a video presentation she calls 'Ode to Toad' in place of the scheduled screening.
The heartfelt footage sees Melanie go through everything she loves about Toadie, as she explains how desperate she is for them to work things out and get back together.
Deeply moved by the film and her efforts, Toadie finds himself stuck between the two women. Who will he pick... crafty, persistent Rose, or the lovesick Melanie?
Talking about the film festival sequences, Durack teased: "Everyone is dressed in costume and Rose hears that Melanie is going to go as Elle Woods, because Legally Blonde is Toadie's favourite movie. Rose goes and buys the best Elle Woods costume, so there's nothing left for Melanie. So she does mean things like that.
"But some of the things Rose does to win Toadie are fun. She and Toadie have a history of pranks, so they do some really fun ones."
Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, October 4 and Tuesday, October 5 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
