Neighbours updates opening titles after recent cast changes

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' opening titles have been given their first major changes of the new season.

The Australian soap has tweaked its titles to reflect recent cast changes.

The OC star Mischa Barton made her final appearance in the role of Reece Sinclair last week. Reece rushed back to the US following the news that her father Conrad had suffered a stroke.

This means that Reece has been removed from the pool shot at the end of the titles and has been replaced by Melanie Pearson, who's back as a regular.

The Sinclair name lives on in Erinsborough, as Reece's sister Krista has been confirmed as a regular character following last week's back-from-the-dead twist.

Krista has been added to the existing beach shot with Byron Stone and Haz Devkar.

Meanwhile, Aaron Brennan, David Tanaka and Nicolette Stone have also been added to the titles following their return in the recent Flashback Week.

The trio feature in the titles alongside Isla. Jane Harris and Sam Young are also included in this shot, so no longer have their own individual segment.

Neighbours announced that Reece's guest stint had ended last week, after the scenes aired showing her say goodbye to Byron and head to the airport.

The show posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Is this the end of #Breece? Thanks once again to Mischa Barton for an incredible guest stint, do you think it's the last we'll see of Reece Sinclair?"

Meanwhile, Majella Davis – who plays Krista – posted on Instagram: "My alter ego for the next year – Krista Sinclair.

"Super grateful to be part of such a wonderful company. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout the years. It's been a long road to my first job, and it's everything I've always dreamt it would be."

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
