Neighbours' Yashvi is disappointed after Ned reunion attempts fail

Neighbours has revealed that Yashvi Rebecchi and Ned Willis's romance may not be over.

The pair split up a few weeks ago as scheming Scarlett Brady managed to drive them apart, but the build-up to Christmas sees hints that Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) still has feelings for Ned.

Scenes airing on Thursday, December 19 see Yashvi resign from her job at the hotel as she wants to focus on preparing for the police entrance exam.

Although this is exciting news for Yashvi, Chloe Brennan can't help feeling disappointed as she'd secretly hoped that Yashvi and Ned (Ben Hall) might reconcile if they worked closely together for long enough.

Not giving up so easily, Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) decides to recruit Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) to help play matchmaker for Yashvi and Ned.

Unfortunately, Chloe's plan backfires badly and only leaves Yashvi and Ned feeling even more at odds than how they'd started.

However, one ray of hope is how Yashvi is clearly disappointed by how things have turned out.

Is this a sign that she still wants to be with Ned – and could the upcoming Christmas season bring them closer again?

Viewers have seen Ned on a downward spiral in recent weeks, getting involved in a dangerous fight club as an outlet for his anger after being stabbed by Scarlett.

Next week, Yashvi has to go to her father Shane for help as she's in danger herself after angering the fight club organisers.

Neighbours airs Chloe's plan on Thursday, December 19 at 12.50pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
