Nestle axes popular UK chocolate bar despite 'sales being very good'

Nestlé has scrapped a popular chocolate bar but furious fans have fumed: "Why would you do this?" Nestlé has confirmed one product has been scrapped - sparking widespread fury - as fans of the popular Yorkie rage over two flavours being discontinued.

Nestlé UK has confirmed it has axed Yorkie Orange bars after chocolate fans struggled to find them in stores - after it ditched two other chocolate treats earlier this year due to a drop in demand. A chocolate fan took to social media to say they had not been able to find the bars all year, while another added they "just want an orange Yorkie".

A third X user asked: "What’s happened to the orange Yorkies? They been out of stock all over West Yorkshire for months. When will they return?" Nestlé replied to confirm they are no longer available. It said: "Unfortunately, Yorkie Orange has been discontinued from our range. We'll definitely let the team know that you would like to see it back.
