Yahoo News Netflix cancels Cobra Kai bosses' series Obliterated
Netflix has cancelled Obliterated after just one season.
The action-comedy series – from Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald – debuted on the streaming service in November.
Obliterated starred Teen Wolf 's Shelley Hennig and Legends of Tomorrow's Nick Zano.

The show followed an elite Special Forces team that managed to stop a threat in Los Angeles, or so they thought.
After the group goes out to celebrate their success with some drinks, they soon learn the bomb they deactivated was fake, and they must now try to locate the real device and save the world while drunk and overcoming their personal issues.
According to Deadline, the creative trio behind Obliterated envisioned the series as akin to an R-rated action-comedy film, with the group's story instead being told over eight episodes.
Deadline adds that Heald, Hurwitz and Schlossberg hope to "revisit the concept in some form in the future, picking up with the characters years later."
Meanwhile, in December the trio shared an exciting update on Cobra Kai's final season.
Production on the sixth season had been slated to start in May 2023, but it was put on hold because of the dual writers' and actors' strikes in Hollywood.
Speaking to Deadline, Heald confirmed that production on the final season would begin in early 2024.
"We are in the writers' room working feverishly and we have been since the WGA strike ended. We are thrilled that the SAG-AFTRA strike has also ended," he said.

"We are going back into production after the new year on the biggest, boldest season we've done yet," Heald continued.
Schlossberg also added they're hoping to have the season air later this year, saying: "With the only caveat being that nothing else happens in the industry."
"That's the hope to get this out ASAP for the fans who have been waiting."
Cobra Kai seasons 1-5 are available to stream on Netflix.
