Yahoo News Netflix’s ‘Cobra Kai’ Was Shot at This Georgia Home Now Listed for $3 Million
Mr. Miyagi’s star pupil Daniel LaRusso has grown up since The Karate Kid was released in theaters back in 1984, but the character’s rivalry with Johnny Lawrence reignites some 34 years later in the Cobra Kai series, one of the most successful shows on Netflix. Since its 2018 debut, fans have witnessed showdowns in variety of locations, including one home in Georgia that doubles as a country safe haven. Emmy-nominated actor Ralph Macchio, who plays LaRusso, used the pad as his home in Cobra Kai, which airs its sixth season next month. Luckily, there’s no need to hold a black belt or be a Dojo regular to become the new owner.
Set in the heart of Marietta and priced at $2.9 million, the charming estate at 130 Woodlawn Drive NE is ready for its next close up. The property was previously listed for $2.65 million in 2021. Through the gated entry and down the stony driveway, you’ll reach the home’s two-story facade, accented by an arched front door and patio features. Inside the foyer, polished stone floors come into focus, as does the atrium with a Koi fish pond. Light from the outdoor area pools into the foyer that’s set next to a fireside living area.
