The Sandman has revealed a trio of new characters set to join the second season of the hit Netflix series. In a newly released video on social media, the official account for The Sandman introduced the actors taking on the roles of the other Endless siblings, which have yet to be seen on screen.

Joining the Tom Sturridge-led cast will be former Hustle and Renegade Nell star Adrian Lester as Destiny, The Doll Factory actress Esme Creed-Miles as Delirium, and Revenge and The Bay actor Barry Sloane as the Prodigal.

In a video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, the official The Sandman account wrote: “The Endless have finally assembled: Introducing Adrian Lester as Destiny, Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium and Barry Sloane as the Prodigal in the next season of THE SANDMAN. It’s going to be one Hell of a family reunion.”

The new faces will be joining the other Endless siblings returning from series one. The other siblings include Death (Kirby), Desire (Mason Alexander Park), Despair (Donna Preston) and Dream, The Sandman himself. According to Variety, the three castings “point” to the series covering Neil Gaiman’s graphic novel’s iconic instalment, “Season of Mists.”

The video has been viewed over a massive 368,600 times, racking up 212 comments, 5,000 Retweets and over 11,000 likes. Mina replied: “I am totally normal about this.”

However, Richard said: “I can’t help but being the tiniest bit disappointed that Neil himself isn’t playing Destiny, but I absolutely look forward to seeing what these new actors bring to the show. Bring on Season Two!”

Despite the cast announcement, no release date for The Sandman season two has been revealed yet. Other cast members who will be back for “The Sandman” Season 2 are Patton Oswalt as Matthew the Raven, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer Morningstar, Jenna Coleman as Johanna Constantine, Ferdinand Kingsley as Hob Gadling, Stephen Fry as Gilbert, Asim Chaudhry as Abel, Sanjeev Bhaskar as Cain, Vanesu Samunyai as Rose Walker, and Razane Jammal as Lyta Hall.
