Newborn Baby Stuffed Down Toilet Is Saved After Passersby Hear Screams For Help

A newborn baby who’d been stuffed down a Chinese public toilet was saved after passersby heard its desperate screams for help.

Hero police rescued the terrified tot from the hole in the ground restroom in Beijing on Sunday afternoon.

Officers said that blood discovered on the floor nearby suggested that the infant’s mother had given birth before walking away.

China has a strict one-child policy. Couples who have more than one baby face serious fines.

It’s believed the law could have been a motive in the abandoning of the youngster. Police are now searching for the mother.

The infant, whose gender has not been revealed, was taken to a hospital in Beijing.

It did not appear to have any serious injuries, and is expected to make a full recovery.
