'There Go My Ovaries!': Idris Elba Sends Twitter Into Meltdown With X-Rated Bow Tie Tweet
Idris Elba makes women swoon at the best of times but he sent the land of social networking into overdrive on Saturday night when he sent a rather steamy tweet revealing he was aroused just moments before he arrived at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The handsome Luther star looked particularly dashing as he walked the red carpet with his Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom co-star Naomie Harris, wearing a dapper black suit teamed with a white shirt and an adorable little bow tie that he somehow managed to make sexy.

Idris clearly thought he looked good too as he tweeted before hitting the star-studded bash: “My Bow makes my d**k hard every time I smile...is that normal?”
No, it's not Idris, but your legion of female admirers didn't seem to mind either way as they instantly flooded Twitter with some rather complimentary – yet hilarious – responses.

@footlesspants exclaimed: “Lawd. Welp, there go my ovaries,” while @ebonyism_ shared a similar train of thought, adding: “#LRT i can't believe idris elba tweeted that! ovaries explosion.”
Shocked by the huge reaction to the naughty tweet, @KDBryan said: “Dropped off Twitter for a few hours and when I came back, Idris Elba's bow tie seems to have been elected President & impregnated 117 women.”

Idris, 41, was also surprised by the reaction, later joking that he's considering profiting from the bow tie industry, tweeting: “Wowsers! Crazy how many new followers you get when you mention the D*** If I owned a Bow tie company I'd be laughing. Dickie Bows by Driis.”
