Cate Blanchett takes children to work

Australian actress Cate Blanchett refuses to keep her work and home life separate and often takes her children to the theatre where she is performing.

The Elizabeth star has two sons, Roman and Ignatius, with her playwright/director husband Andrew Upton and admits she has been taking them to work while she appears in a production of Uncle Vanya at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

She tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "We do what we love - it's not like we are running a supermarket or something. There is not a lot of separation between work and home life. The kids hang out at the theatre, and it all gets a bit muddled-up, but it somehow works."
