Dominic Monaghan Accuses Lost Co-Star Matthew Fox Of Being A Woman Beater

There is clearly no love between former Lost co-stars Matthew Fox and Dominic Monaghan who played Jack and Charlie on the hit sci-fi show. It began innocently enough on Sunday, when a Lost-addicted young fan tweeted Dominic Monaghan to persuade his former co-star Matthew to sign up for Twitter.

The young fan, according to gossip site Jezebel, wrote: “Holla at matthew fox and tell him to get a twitter I beg of you.”

Dominic, who also starred in the 'Lord Of The Rings' franchise, shockingly replied: “He beats women. No thanks.”

This bombshell comes in the wake of Matthew Fox being arrested for drunk driving earlier this month, allegations of cheating on his long-suffering wife with strippers, and also his assault of a female bus driver in August, where he allegedly punched her in the breasts and groin, according to Jezebel.

The fan, upset by Dominic’s serious accusation, believing that he was just referring to the bus driver incident, replied: “I KNOW IT WAS WRONG BUT WHAT?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE GOOD TIMES YOU HAD TOGETHER?!”

In turn Dominic responded: “How do you know we ever did?you don't know either of us.he beats women.not isolated incidents.often.not interested.” (sic)

With many up in arms at Dominic’s angry statement, several Twitter users told the actor that Matthew ought to sue him for defamation, but the 35-year-old stood by his accusation, tweeting: “It's very difficult to sue someone for speaking the truth. Have you received an education dear?”

Dominic was answering questions on Twitter to promote his new documentary series Wild Things, however following the controversy caused by his tweets about former co-star Matthew Fox, the actor has had to close down his Twitter account at the present time.

Both reps have been approached for comment.
