With The Wanted’s third album 'Word of Mouth' set for release next month, news has surfaced that eagerly anticipated collaboration tracks with teen sensation Justin Bieber and pop singer Rita Ora now won’t make the album.

With the album finished, the band have been sweating over how well it will go down with fans, but band member Siva Kaneswaran has suggested it’s the best album they’ve come up with, even without potential number one hits with Justin or Rita.

Siva told Digital Spy: “It's been a bit of a rollercoaster because there's been a lot of pressure from everyone to release music. By God we're sweating it because after all this work, we know this is the best album we can come up with. I think every song is a hit, but it depends on what everyone else thinks."

The five-piece, who are set to tour North America with ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer Carly Rae Jepsen this summer, were quizzed on why the hot collabs didn’t make the record, and Siva explains that they just weren’t right for the album.

“We wrote with Justin and Rita, but for all of us, we’ve always said that if a song was right to release, we’d release it,” he said.

“They're great songs, but in regards to our sound right now and the album, they weren't right. We still have them and we can still use them and put them out at the right time.”

While fans wait for the album, out on September 23, their new single We Own The Night is available for download now.
