Katy Perry uses Madonna's crystal healer

Katy Perry has been getting some advice on how to mend her broken heart from Madonna, and it involves using crystals.

Katy has been through enough high-profile break-ups to last a lifetime, most recently with fellow superstar singer John Mayer, so her friend Madonna has passed on some advice on how to get her through the tough times.

The Material Girl has passed on the details of her crystal healer to Katy, who has been learning about the power of crystals and which ones can be used to help people in different situations.

Katy says, "I'm a huge fan (of Madonna). I've got to know her recently and she's incredible... She had given me some advice on how to maintain my health throughout the tour. She had given me a number for a crystal healer.

"Everything stems from people's energy so it makes sense. I sleep with a rose quartz in my hand at night. It's supposed to help you find love and also heal your heart."

Madonna is no stranger to handing out health advice to younger stars, as she once famously gave Justin Timberlake a vitamin B injection in his bottom after he complained of feeling ill while they were working together.
